Skylanders
Skylanders Spyro's Adventure is a video game that has these action figures that come to life! What you need is either a Wii, PS3, 3DS, or Xbox360 to play the game. If you want, you can try the online game at skylanders.com or buy the game. I have the 3DS, PC, and Wii versions and the story lines are different. The game costs $70 regularly but it is on sale at most places for $50. The game comes with three different Skylanders. The figures you use have a brain of their own, and you can use one figure in one game and have the memory saved on the figure. I LOVE this game and hope to get most of the Skylanders. The game is easy for me to find, but the individual figures are very hard to get. There are eight different elements: fire, water, magic, tech, air, undead, earth, and life( grass). The story is about a portal master named Eon who defended the world of Skylands. The Skylanders are the ones who protect the Skylands. One day, Eon failed to win a battle, so he became a floating head and the Sklanders were sent to Earth. The bad guy (name changes in each game) thought Earth was the worst place, so that is why he sent them here. I won't spoil to much, but when you get the game you are the new portal master. I will give the game a 10 out of 10. It has a few things I think they should have taken out, but other than that it is great. The individual figures costs from $7-$8 plus tax. It sounds like a very expensive game to get, but it is worth it.

Zombies
I don't know how many of you watch "Walking Dead", but it is a good zombie show.
If you have a question about zombies, I will try to respond.
Zombies are mindless ugly "beasts" that want to eat your brain and flesh! Most of you would pick a gun as a weapon or some lethal weapon. I have some good and bad news on what you might pick. If you pick a gun, while there is a zombie apocalypse going on, no one is making any ammo for you to use. If you pick a melee weapon, it could get stuck in the zombie or if you miss, the zombie can bite/claw you. Here is something that I hope you remember during a battle with a zombie,
1. Aim for the head (brain) and
2. Don't just hit them once, hit them again just in case to make sure they are dead.
Now, the real question is "Do you believe in zombies?"; and if you do, will you kill yourself because you don't want to live in a world with zombies?
P.S. What weapon or plan will you have if all this is true?

Hatchet by Gary Paulsen
Hatchet, by Gary Paulsen, is a fictional adventure book that takes place in a forest in Canada. The illustrated 20th anniversary edition is 188 pages. Hatchet is about a boy named Brian Robeson going to Canada to see his dad. His mom gives him a hatchet because it might help him where his dad works. During his flight, the pilot gets a heart attack and dies. Brian is now by himself, because it is a two-seater plane. He crashes in a lake. He needs to find food, help, and make a fire. While he makes shelter and finds berries, he encounters many different animals. One animal scares him. He throws his hatchet and it makes a spark on his cave wall, which gives him the idea of how to make a fire.
Later, he figures out how to catch fish with a spear, which he made with his hatchet. While Brian is looking for good wood for a bow, he hears a motor. He runs back and takes some of his fire and puts it on his bonfire; but, he is too late and the plane leaves. Brian makes a bow using his shoelace as the string. Now that he has a bow, he hunts for meat. He finds small birds, but he cannot see them until they fly off. They have great camouflage, so by the time he attacks, the bird is gone. Brian figures out a way to see the bird and attack it before it flies off. After he finds food, shelter, and fire, a big tornado hits the forest. Everything is destroyed. Now, it is two months since the plane crash.
This book got me thinking about if I am in the wild, will there be mosquitoes and food out there. I like the way he rethinks every single thing that he does wrong and then he has to redo it with a different approach. I liked the idea of how he was a city boy and still survived for two months in the forest alone with his hatchet.
My favorite quote from the book is:
“My name is Brian Robeson,” he said. Then he saw that his stew was done, the peach whip almost done, and he waved to it with his hand. “Would you like something to eat?”
The person who told me about this book liked it very much, so I gave it a shot. I recommend this book if you like a little action and fiction. If you can get Hatchet please give it a try. I think the reading level for this book is around fourth grade to seventh grade.

Spider Story
The spider is red with black and white dots. It is about as long as two pennies. It’s about 3 inches wide and 3 inches tall including the legs.
It has a flat, hard back and a fuzzy tummy. He has four fangs, two on the top and two on the bottom. The top ones are poisonous and the bottom ones are sharp.
If the legs break or fall off, then the legs will grow back.
One day, when the spider was about to go into a house to build his first web, a stray cat ate him. But, the spider was still alive.
The spider felt sad because he did not build a web. Then, he built his first web in the cat. The cat did not like this web in his body. So, the cat spat him out in her hair ball.
When he found a house to build a web and find a mate, the people were not home. He thought, “This is a great house because nobody is here to bother me.” But, he also thought he might not find a mate.
The next day, he built a web the size of a grown human’s hand!
There she was… a lady spider…the best one around. She had bright blue eyes and a white body like fluffy snow. She was the one. Of course, she was going to be hard to get. So, the male spider built one huge web the size of two human hands!
The female spider loved him. She laid 1,000 eggs! They lived happily ever after with 200 spider lings.

Little Red Riding Hood – Michael’s Version

Once upon a time, there was a little girl. Her name was Robin Hood. Noooo…..her name was really Little Red Riding Hood. Her uncle was Robin Hood.
One day, she made chocolate chip cookies for her grandma. She had made three chocolate chip cookies the size of her face.
Later that day, she dropped two of her cookies in a bush because she was scared of something in the forest, and dropped the last one by a tree. It turns out that the thing she was afraid of was the big bad wolf. The wolf had killed a bird and left a bloody trail.
Little Red Riding Hood stuck her body inside a tree because she was frightened. Then she stuck her head out to see if the wolf was still there.
This tree had powers to get her to her grandma’s house by teleportation. So, off she went!
When she got to her grandma’s house, the grandma asked, “Why are you here!?!” She said, “I made you some chocolate chip cookies.” The grandma asked, “Where are they!?!” Little Red Riding Hood said, “The big bad wolf ate them.” Of course, the grandma could see through lies. So, the grandma was very angry. She said, “Little Red Riding Hood, tell me the truth. Where are my cookies!?!” Little Red Riding Hood said,” I dropped them in the forest.” The grandma was mad because she had no cookies to eat. Then they made chocolate chip cookies at grandma’s house.

Bunnies
Once upon a time, there was a bunny named Little.
He had three brothers.
He told them about a carrot bush.
Then they all went to go get carrots.
One of the brothers said that carrot bushes don’t exist.
Then another one of his brothers found a new carrot bush.
They took all the carrots out and went home for dinner.
They ate all their carrots and were full.
The next morning, they wanted some carrots for breakfast.
They went to the bushes and there were five carrots left.
All of them thought the carrots grew magically.
It grew five carrots every day.
So every morning, the bunnies went to get carrots.
Until one day….
There was a big mean bunny named Josh from a different famly.
He ate all the carrots that were in the bush.
The bunnies were very sad.
Then the next morning, the bunnies went to get carrots and all of the carrots were gone.
They thought Josh ate them.
A long time ago, they found a big carrot and they called it the “King of the Carrots” and it was the god of the carrots or so they thought.
They asked the great god if he could make more carrots for them because they were sooooo hungry.
So the god said he will give them carrots if they gave hime a bunny tail.
If they did, they would have hundreds and hundreds of carrots.
The god said they can make carrot soup, carrot salad, carrot pie, carrot cake, and much more.
They were thinking of whose tail they were going to give.
Then they said “Let’s give Josh’s tail.”
They thought and thought about how to get his tail.
Then Daddy bunny came home with Mommy bunny.
Then all the boys told them about the carrots and mean old Josh.
Then Mommy bunny, Daddy bunny, and all the boys had a great idea.
All of them made a bunny trap and captured Josh’s tail.
Then they gave it to the great god of carrots and the god gave them hundreds and hundreds of carrots.
Then they made carrot soup, carrot salad, carrot pie, carrot cake, and much more.

Vampires
1. At night lock your doors. Don't invite a vampire in your house. It can't come in without an invitation.
2. Stab it in the heart with a sharp stake to kill it . I think you knew that.
3. It can't be in sunlight. I hope you knew that too.
P.S. If you have any questions just ask me.

T-REX
I hope you know what a t-rex is. If you don't know, it's a dinosaur. I find t-rexes scary. How about you? I think they were nasty dinosaurs. I would not like to get in a fight with one of them. Do you think you could win? I think in the modern day we can win with guns and rockets. One thing I think to save yourself from one is to get in a corner and have the head not be able to touch you. I think this because the hands and arms are smaller then the head. Look at it...

Dragons
I tried to paint a dragon... but it was bad. Many say it is a mythical creature such as vampires, mermaids, and unicorns. What do you think?
A nice movie is "How To Train Your Dragon." I saw it. It was cool!

Paintings
Painting is what I like to do for peace. I don't like to meditate or any of that stuff. But, painting takes a lot of concentration. I would like to thank my art teacher Vita. She tells us to fill the paper.
I have just finished a painting of Mona Lisa but with my sister's face on it. I do a lot of vampire paintings because i love what they can do. I will blog about vampires again some other time. But, next time I will make it longer.

Chalazion
Chalazion is fat stuck in your eyelid. It is not an infection. I had a chalazion once. Here are signs to see if you might have one: lump on the eyelid, eyelid hurts when you touch it, sensitive to light, watery eyes, heavy eyelid. There are many ways to get rid it. I tried using medicine. But, it did not work. I also put hot rocks and hot hard boiled eggs on it to try and get rid of it. But, that didn't work that well. So, I chose to have surgery. It hurt but I sucked it up. Now my eyelid is fine.
Photo: After surgery they put gauze on my eyelid.
